CULTIVATE VALUE.
Our plantation business is where GLB‘s journey began.
Over the years, it has grown in to a disciplined, responsibly managed operation – guided by long-term thinking, operational consistency, and respect for the land and communities we work with.
GLB (Golden Land Berhad) currently holds location permits covering approximately 38,668 hectares of land bank and is in the process of securing Hak Guna Usaha (HGU) rights for the total arable land. In East and South Kalimantan, GLB targets the planting of 11,370 hectares by 2030, guided by a structured, long-term development plan.
GLB is committed to being a sustainable palm oil producer, aligned with recognised agricultural sustainability standards. Its subsidiaries in Indonesia are progressing towards Indonesia Sustainable Palm Oil (“ISPO”) certification, with certification expected in the near future. Policies such as No Open Burning and Sustainability have been embedded into plantation Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”) in line with ISPO guidelines.
Across all planting phases, GLB enforces strict quality controls, including careful selection of planting materials, stringent culling, proper nursery management, and good field planting practices. These measures support sustainable yields, optimum productivity, and a cost-efficient plantation operation over the long term.

MISSION
We manage and grow our plantations through good agricultural practices and people development while taking care of stakeholder interest.
OUR WAY OF WORKING
Our plantation operations are guided by structured processes and experienced on-ground teams. We emphasise consistent estate management, responsible
land use, and continuous improvement across all operational stages.
By adopting disciplined agricultural practices and monitoring performance closely, we ensure productivity while maintaining the long-term health of our plantations.
CARING FOR THE LAND
Sustainability is embedded in how we operate – not treated as a separate initiative. Our plantation management approach prioritises responsible land development, environmental stewardship, and compliance with recognised industry standards.
We believe sustainable practices are essential to protecting long-term value, strengthening operational resilience, and maintaining trust with stakeholders.
BECAUSE
COMMUNITIES MATTER
We recognise that our plantations operate alongside local communities. Giving back is an integral part of our responsibility.
Through community engagement, support initiatives, and local participation, we aim to foster positive relationships that contribute to shared progress and long-term social well-being.
OUR PEOPLE,
OUR STRENGTH
Our people are the backbone of our plantation operations. We place strong emphasis on safe working environments, skills development, and fair employment practices.
By investing in training, welfare, and capability building, we empower our teams to operate efficiently while upholding our standards of responsibility and care.
STANDARDS WE STANDBY
Quality control and compliance are fundamental to our plantation management. Our operations adhere to established guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal controls designed to ensure consistency, accountability, and transparency.
Regular monitoring and structured oversight help us maintain operational integrity while managing risk effectively.
From cultivating the land to nurturing people and communities, our plantation business reflects a long-term commitment – built on trust, guided by responsibility, and focused on what endures.
